I came across this company just by doing a Google search. This was my first time using the company and I am very happy with my service the man showed up on time and was professional. I had my own paint and he did an excellent job on my daughter bedroom. I used two different colors and he made the lines so neat and clean from the ceiling and the baseboards. There wasn't any mess. I recently hired these guys to paint the entire interior of my home, and they are fabulous. The job was finished sooner than quoted, and the owner, German, came by twice (once to walk through the job with me and a second time to address a minor issue). Without prompt, he touched up a few places the carpet installers had blemished, and when I pointed out some questionable paint spots, he patiently educated me without being defensive on the difference of old paint versus new paint (a few years ago, I had the home painted by someone else but never noticed the flaws until recently because they're more pronounced now since the home is bare and unfurnished). Then, he went through the home and reversed some of the old paint when I wasn't looking! Now THAT is the act of someone who really cares about his craft and wants every customer to be satisfied!

Cesar and Jesus did an outstanding job of cleaning up and correcting bad patch jobs and uneven texture prior to painting. I just had my house exterior painted along with 2 out buildings, My first contact was with German, who came out and gave me an estimate, he arrived on time and was able to provide me with my estimate the next day, he detailed everything we wanted completed. We set up a start date to begin, we also had a few days of rain and snow but his crew, Ivan & Patrick were able to work around the weather disruptions. The estimate provided for 5 days to get the job completed which on the 5th day the work was done. I called Martinez Painting on a Friday, late in the afternoon. I explained we had just moved into our first home, and that I had underestimated all that was involved in painting the interior of a house. Could he come the next day and paint three bedrooms for us, ceilings and walls? Needed it done ASAP! Said he would be there the next day at 8am, and he was, with a four man crew.
Prior to his arrival, I realized my wife and I had got our schedules messed up and I was in big trouble. So I asked Mr. Martinez (on Saturday morning), could he actually paint my entire house (approximately 2800 sq. ft., interior only, ceilings and walls) by Monday? He looked at me skeptically, and then I said, by the way the carpet guys will be here in an hour and all of our furniture will be delivered tomorrow (Sunday).
Not only did they complete the job that Monday, they did an outstanding job. His crew were extremely courteous, polite, and went out of their way to get the job done right and on time. True professionals from the moment I contacted them by phone and making arrangements to have them out to see what I needed done all in one day. Arrangements were made around my schedule, date and time without any hassle . Christen arrived ten minutes early on the agreed date , introduced himself by name and said he would be taking care of my request. He did a walk through, and immediately started on the project. We were originally going to have the entire house stuccoed again thinking that's what it needed... but the German explained to us to just paint it and they will fix all the cracks and just patch the areas that needed stucco and it would look just as nice and way less expensive. I'll keep this review short and sweet as it seems like the other Yelpers have already sung enough praises about this company and I'll just explain my experience.

Martinez Painting painted the entire interior of my 1585 square foot house except the bathrooms, doors, and ceilings for $1175 and did a great job at it. Before the house looked drab and worn and now the house feels and looks alive and rejuvenated. I'm going to see if he can do the doors and bathrooms in April if I decide its appropriate.

It looks like in a couple of years, once I've saved up the money, I'll have Martinez painting paint the entire exterior of my house. Great job Martinez painting and great job fellow Yelpers for helping me discover this gem.

True professionals from the moment I contacted them by phone and making arrangements to have them out to see what I needed done all in one day. Arrangements were made around my schedule, date and time without any hassle . Christen arrived ten minutes early on the agreed date , introduced himself by name and said he would be taking care of my request. He did a walk through, and immediately started on the project. I recently hired these guys to paint the entire interior of my home, and they are fabulous. The job was finished sooner than quoted, and the owner, German, came by twice (once to walk through the job with me and a second time to address a minor issue). Without prompt, he touched up a few places the carpet installers had blemished, and when I pointed out some questionable paint spots, he patiently educated me without being defensive on the difference of old paint versus new paint (a few years ago, I had the home painted by someone else but never noticed the flaws until recently because they're more pronounced now since the home is bare and unfurnished). Then, he went through the home and reversed some of the old paint when I wasn't looking! Now THAT is the act of someone who really cares about his craft and wants every customer to be satisfied!

I requested an appointment for an estimate and was promptly given my estimate. The company was very reliable and I am very pleased with the job. They removed my stucco and painted a master bedroom and bathroom. The employees did a great job and came on time and were very careful with the work they completed. I called on a Thursday and spoke to the owner German. He said he'd be over in a 1/2 hour to give me an estimate, half an hour later he was at my door in a company truck with his logo and contractors license # painted on the side.
I explained to him that we wanted the popcorn ceiling,retextured and repainted also wanted the walls patched and painted.
He was very professional, extremely polite and cordial. He gave me a 2 day timeline and a very good price. But like a good consumer I got 3 quotes from different companies. That night I discussed the estimates with my wife over the phone and German price was by far the best, plus I felt very comfortable with giving him my keys and letting him do the job.
I spoke to German and told him we wanted to move ahead with the job.
He told me to call him when I was at the house the next day to sign the agreement. I called on Friday he came over around noon I signed the work order and gave him the keys, he didn't ask for any deposit like all the other guys did. He told me they would start Saturday morning and be done by end of the day on Monday. Since we had a paint sample and a color swatch he had the color matched in Sherwin Williams paint.
Saturday morning 2 uniformed painters in a company truck came layed plastic sheeting over the floors and got to work. I arrived at around noon, they had knocked out about 50% of the ceiling. These guys were great they were all work no music playing.
With all older houses you are going to find unforeseen problems and there was. Apparently the ceiling had been painted under the popcorn so it was harder to get off and they couldn't finish texturing it that day plus the weather wasn't cooperating it was too cold to set the texture he called me Monday morning at my house in Downey and told me what the problem was he was very sorry and he needed 1 more day.
I told him not to worry about it, to take extra time and do it right.
On Tuesday morning I drove back to Apple Valley to see the house and meet with some other contractors doing different projects around the house (framing and electrical work Etc:).
When I walked in they were about 90% done painting. You couldn't tell there had been a popcorn ceiling before and the walls looked great except a slight ruff patch that German noticed on the walk through inspection later that day and he had the guys fix it on the spot. (attention to detail).
The crew finished painting and doing touch-ups.They cleaned up, swept the floors (even the mess the Fios guy made) they hauled away all the garbage and returned my key. I gave them each a tip for their hard work. (the guys were friendly respectful and hard workers).
The next day German called me and came by the house to settle the bill for the original price quoted.
I gave him a check for the job and a $100 bill. He asked me what the $100 bill was for? I told him it was for the great job that they had done and to offset some of the labor cost because of the delay. (I didn't want the man to lose money) He was so humble and didn't want to accept it. I told him that's the way I do business. I reward people when they deserve it. He said thank you and that he would give the money to his crew."they earned it not him"

Martinez painting just completed the whole interior of our home. We couldn't be happier with their work. German Martinez came an gave us his bid on the job. We told him we wanted them to handle everything.
They took pictures of each room, removed everything off walls painted and several hours later everything was placed just like the pictures they took. They came each morning @8am just like they said and finished each day at 4:30. It took 3 days for our 1900 sq.ft home to be completely done. Martinez's crew were pleasant, hard working . My husband and I were in desperate need of some help painting our living room/dining room and kitchen before the holidays. We found Martinez Painting and decided to try them out.

From the very first phone call to the last day of work, we could not have been happier. German came and gave us the estimate, left us samples to look through and wrote out the contract. He was super easy to communicate with, and when we finally picked our colors he came over and did a sample patch. When the top layer ( we wanted a sponge effect done) wasn't the color I wanted, German helped me pick out two more and came back the following day to do more patches. I picked a color and we were set!! The day the job started, he and his two guys came right at 8am and got to work. They were fast, efficient, and very friendly. As they did the sponge layer they would ask if we liked the pattern, etc. They always always put our happiness first.

We could not be more in love with our experience, and with our "new" house!! I would highly recommend Martinez Painting HD to ANYONE needing quality work done by professional and personable people.

German and his guys did a great job on bringing my 20' x 10' wooden shed back to life. My 20 year old shed was in need of repair and paint. They replaced the rotted out wood, and gave it a new paint job that matches the house. They came on time and did what was expected. Mr. Martinez did a great job painting my home. He was punctual and very professional. He was courteous and respectful of our home. He painted our rooms, stairs, doors, bathrooms, cabinets, dining room and living room. Our cabinets came out AMAZING!! A lot of people claim they can paint cabinets but they can't. German Martinez and his team did a fantastic job for Reliable Self Storage manager's apartment. He was very professional and courteous. I had several estimates and his was the fairest and most honest. All other painting companies were rude or "know it alls!" German kept his word on the work and grade of paint he would use. Martinez Painting just finished painting almost the entire interior of my 2500 sqf home. I found them on Yelp, after meeting German & also consulting with a few other painters; I felt most comfortable with German, he was very kind, attentive to what I was wanting, most affordable, and professional. He brought color samples for me to review & then once I found a few I was interested in, he then brought paint samples to help ensure that I will be satisfied & happy with the color that I choose. His crew showed up on time every day, worked hard, & took great precaution in protecting my floors & furniture from the paint. I now have perfect paint lines around the ceilings and baseboards. We bought a house that had some serious issues--paint mess ups on ceilings, bad patchwork and high ceilings. German came in with a fair estimate and a great selection of paint samples. EXCELLENT JOB! Very detailed. Did job in 3 days, one day of prep work and 2 days of painting. My house is 3,500sq. ft. I decided to get the house painted as a surprise for my husband since he was going on travel for 3 days. German and his crew made sure to finish by the 3rd day.
